thats not very specific but thats ok do a parasitic draw test with a multimeter
turn your ign off
unhook your negative battery cable
put the meter inline between your battery and the cable and set it to amp
if your pulling more than about 20ma than your pulling too much
basically pull one fuse at a time until the gauge reads below 15ma preferably 0ma then you found your problem fix it as required

hope this helps

If you don't know which one that is, it's the one that connects to the "-" on the battery

How could have this happened? I did install an aftermarket radio with amp and sub and aftermarket alarm. I have a feeling its the alarm because its been minor problems since day 1.

maybe because u didnt drive your car for long time. If u dont drive it , occasionally start the car let it run for 20 minutes or so........ hope that helps thats what i do ..... 20 minutes to let the fuel and engine go together.

This should have been included with your first post. Have you done the test that fullthrottlesrqsupra suggested you do? What results did you get? What have you done to track down your problem since you first posted?

bryanf89 05-07-2010 05:48 PM

No, i havent done the test because i dont have the equipmemt to do so =\

Alright, since you suspect the alarm I would uninstall it and see if your problem continues

the Alarm system combined with a aftermarket radio theft deterrent drains the battery 2/3 of the time. after you lock you car you will notice the security light on the dash will flash, some aftermarket radios will also have a security light flash (mine did) while the car is off and locked. draining the battery x amount of time until the car is unlocked. after a couple of days of being locked the car wouldn't have enough power to start. I eventually changed the radio and alternator and never happened again.
