I had a air leak in my turbo supra that i fixed the other day it was just a small hose under the intake manifold. after the fix i thought i was gana b able to spool back up to 8 but when i went for drive i spooled up to 7 then i released the gas and my blow off valve went off but this time sounded really strange then the car just died on me. I have a stock supra with a greddy type rs blow off valve I did this late so did have time to test stuff will do today tho if any one can shine light on this it would really help thanks for every thing in the past guys. u guys r of a lot of help

Its possible that it died because you don't have you're bov recirculated. My 87 use to die same as you're explaining yours when I had a Greddy Type RS BOV which wasn't recirculated.

sounds legit. my supra does the same thing sometimes because my bov is letting off into the atmosphere.

How does your exhaust look is it blue? The oil in your pipes could be PCV oil to check that pull your accordion hose off and see if you have a bunch of oil in the accordion hose. If that checks out ok then your turbo seals are probably going and in that case it would be a wise decision to replace it asap so it doesn't leave you stranded somewhere and not to mention it won't be fun to clean out all your i.c. piping and intercooler.
