Which Complete gasket Kit is Good to assemble my motor back together?
I need some help choosing a gasket kit to start reassembling my motor back together.
Some say OEM, I already have my MHG but I need all the other gaskets to start putting her back together. Any help, comments, and opinions is appreciated. Thanks... |

The bulk of the gaskets in the OEM kits versus those in the aftermarket kit aren't under enough stress for any minor differences to make a big deal. Just a little layer of sealant on the surface of the paper and assemble. The HG is really the only place I've seen a big difference.. that and the lower intake plenum gasket (OEM has a ring of sealant around the one coolant passage, some aftermarket do not).

Ok so I could use an aftermarket kit, as I do have a mhg already. Then just add some sealant where needed?
