86.5 swap to 2j turbo

I have no idea what i need, I thought i did, but after reading a bit here and there I'm sure i have no idea.

So what all will I need? I live in California and the Ref said its legal to do the swap and that it should work out fine but everything must work for emissions.

I found the complete engine with ecu, and the guy said I'd just need to splice everything together.

I found the headers and cat-back exhaust I want but the sales rep at tanabe said the layout should be different so it probably wont work without modification due to length, and of course recommended not altering there product.

so before I go crazy and start buying stuff I figured I'd ask around for "the big picture" of what i need.

So please if anybody could help me out with the info, please do.
