Ive recently purchased a 1989 Toyota Supra 3.0i Turbo with the 7MGTE engine with an Automatic box.
Ive bought it as a hobby and toy for myself as my other half has her Vauxhall Cavalier 4x4 Turbo as her toy and we share a Mitsubishi Galant as our everyday car. It has a couple of issues that i would like some information on if at all possible please..... 1, Speedo has stopped working - Is this a simple Speedo Cable Break? 2, There is a shudder from the backend when going above 70mph, its on the drivers side rear, you feel the vibration through the whole car. What could this be? 3, Will a Double Din Headunit fit straight into these? I have a single din with the original blanking plate below. If it take this out with a Double Din fit straight in or will i need a surround? Thanks for your time Allan |

#1 - Yeah, most likely it's just a broken cable... hopefully the less expensive lower half which runs into the transmission on the passenger side.
#2 - If it occurs whether you are coasting or on the gas it is probably the center carrier bearing in the middle of the drive shaft. #3 - "Will a Double Din Headunit fit straight into these?" - Yes, no "kit" needed.
