struts questions

so i was looking at new JDM rear and front struts on ebay, after my brother got new ones for his 2000 integra.

and everything looks pretty simple to put on my 89 supra (non-turbo)
but there is like these gaskets, on each side of the engine and in the hatch. ive seen some engines without them completely. but theres alot with them.

so my question is do i try and completely take them off and put on the strut, or order the struts and see if they go on top

and by the way, im 15 and have been working on this car non-stop for the past year, so i like doing work, but i dont exactly know what im doing.

so im just checking in on this.
