Ecu mods?!
so what can i do to my ecu to take off the rev limiter, speed limiter and any other thing i could do to mod it?

If you're talking about the 7M, nothing you can do to remove the rev limiter. The only option anyone's ever come up with is bumping the ECU's clock speed, but it throws everything else off. The only real safe bet is to go with an after market EMS.

but those aftermarket EMS only work with windows and i have mac

And every system for reflashing flashable ECU's require PC as well... even if it were flashable you'd still be screwed. Suck it up and buy a PC laptop or get used to the notion that you will be paying someone to do it for you... at least they're dirt cheap.

probably a 500-700 dollar option though all the plug and play ems from aem ive seen are 2300-2600 for the supra mk3 with just the ecu, sensors, and cd for tuning it no laptop
though we only charge 400 for tuning on a dyno so having someone that knows the system and has a dyno could do it where it will run right and make max power the only problem there is if you mod anything else afterwards you gotta pay again Last edited by turbonicsperformance; 05-13-2010 at 01:48 PM. |
