Cool Transmission and drivetrain Project

i started my project today...the shifter is the stock shifter but custom fabricated to be a short shifter topped with a TRD leather ball...im changing the clutch to oem exedy and the flywheel is a 15lb fidanza flywheel...the aluminum driveshaft came in at 15lb compared to the that 40lb factory DS. i was surprised to find out how heavy the stock shift and yes i have heard the vibration that sometimes comes with aluminum DS but i heard all good reviews from shaftmasters...well ill keep you guys posted and of course your input is always welcomed

Default Will not shift, hard to shift when off and clutch pedal feels loose

Default Up and Running, but battery is getting drained >=0

the car is running and i drove it for about 10mins, before the car turned off because of a short circuit...the time i did get to drive was pure bliss, the lightweight flywheel and driveshaft makes a HELL of a difference...it felt like a new engine was making all that power...other than the battery i could say transmission project is closed =)

Nice thread, I've been dying to try a lightweight flywheel and driveshaft.... Figure I should focus on getting my engine running first lol

Well, my GE has a spun bearing. So rather than rebuild that, I'm gathering parts for a N/A-T swap and getting some front end pieces I've been needing. Hopefully I'll be acquiring a 7MGTE in the near future from someone in town and then I can start rebuilding that
