Clutch
I am looking to get a new clutch kit for my 1987 toyota supra. The only upgrades are the 3 inch turbo back exhaust with no cat, and i will have a cold air intake on it as well. i want a stage two or stage three because i hot rod everything i drive and i want to have the extra horse power capabilities there incase i do some other upgrades. What brands would you recomend and where could i get a good price on one, the cheaper the better im on a budget. ant input would be gr8 thanks

Well always rememeber you get what you pay for but i would recommend exedy.

i would get a clutchmasters stage 3 its a full face capable of 580ftlbs which is plenty also its decently cheap search ebay and its a kevlar disc so when it needs to be replaced you'll be pulling the engine for a rebuild anyway since they last forever
also idk if you know or not but the excedy is a 3 4 or 6 puck design for anything over stock and that will give you a harsh engagement eat your flywheel and give you a short clutch life |
what about the oem exedy clutch?

Clutchmaster is good but the break in period for a klevar is a PITA. Chris Jewel from Competition Clutch was one of the first to produce a HD clutch for the MK3's when he was at CM. So my first choice is to check with Competition Clutch after that I would check RPS, Rob was also a pioneer for the MK4 stuff and his knowledge carried over to the MK3 clutches.
