Default New Member, need some help.

Hey guys, my names Kevin I have a black 89 MKIII NA Supra, I recently changed my plugs and wires and now when I go start it, it idles high for about 2 seconds then just dies, I'm getting code 12, which is my distributor but it was fine before I changed my plugs. I've been reading over this forum for awhile but just never registered, I thought I'd see if you guys had any good advice for me...

Here are some pics of my car

Default Wtf?

That makes no sense at all, changing plugs could not do this unless you made some errors in reassembling the Y assembly which has cause a fuel problem. Did you use new gaskets on your Plenum when you put it all back together? Did you mess with the throttle sensor or just leave it attached? Did you replace the plug wires one at a time so you made sure you have them on the distributer in the right places? Could they be out of order on the distributer cap? Maybe someone else could chime in

All the wires are in order, but I did make the mistake in removing the Throttle Sensor, thinking it had to come off, but I'm not quite sure what that would have to do with getting code 12?

Default Throttle sensor

The guys here told me to leave that alone when I was changing my plugs so I would look in the manual and see out to reset it or check that out. Hopefully you'll get better info from the others shortly.

Well, reading up on it, it seems like my problem to the T, so I'm gonna keep looking up a way to reset it, can't find a step by step for the Supra though yet...

And that's when the TSRM ascends from the heavens, and appears as a link right on this forum.
