New to Supra's
Hello, I was originally interested in MKII Supra's. However, by some luck I may be able to acquire an MKIII Supra but I don't know much about these vehicles. I have yet to go look at the vehicle but the owner sent me 2 pictures. Like I said, I'm ignorant when it comes to these cars, but being a Nissan(Z31) guy I know people in the "know" will be able to tell some basic stuff by looking at pictures.
I know these pictures don't show much but going off this how much do you guys think this car would be worth? Also I know z31's came with a shiro(white package) is this the same deal with this supra? |

buy looking at these photos I determined 3 things.. It just recently snowed, your car is white and its Canadian.
all joking aside, the body looks clean. get up under there and check out the chassis. Mine has not an inch of rust on it at all. rust is a killer to cars. other then that.. everything else can be replaced if your willing to spend the money. Check the headgasket! oh I can also tell from the picture that its pre 91. not that special . dont let that guy fool you into "white package." you would have blue interior not red.

It's pre89. 89 and newer didn't have headlight washers. He's done a lot to create a 89 plus white package MKIII.... no necessarily a bad thing, shows attention to detail. One of the big tell tale signs of the job having been done COMPLETELY right is if ALL of the mounting bolt holes in the upper face inside the mouth of the bumper cover actually have bolts in them... they're not in the same locations on the pre89 as they are on the 89+ so either custom brackets need to be made or half the holes are left empty or new holes are dripped and self tapping fasteners are generally used. I don't see any sagging between the nose and the bridge from the lower bumper cover which indicates they most likely did at least swap out the nose support member.
Oh, and it's still on the stock springs and thus great for off road driving!
