turbonicsperformance is on a distinguished road
Default sooo...... :(

went to the track today and got quite a different number than on the virtual quarter on our dyno i guess it didnt take into consideration wind drag wheel spin etc ...
so i was quite dissapointed on our dyno quarter i was running a steady 14.5 14.6 at 90-95
went to the actual track today after finally fixing my slave cylinder problem and ran a 16.565 at 82.46mph my first run so i pull it up to the pits and start screwing around trying to rack my brain on something i could do to run a little quicker with minimal tools so i remove my headlight and knock .030 off (my intake is mounted right under the passenger headlight) then advance my timing to 15 btdc rather than 12 btdc and knock almost a full tenth off so im dicking around and realize it would be extremely easy to retard my cams and i remember seeing that 1 tooth= 5 degrees on our engines so i retard both 1 tooth and set my timing back at 12 btdc and wow 3 full tenths and not just once it was a solid 3 tenths i would die out at the line a little but it would pick right up and i ran a 16.222 at 87.56mph then a 16.254 at 86.13mph pretty consistantly still very disappointed because of our dyno readings but i guess now we have a base line comparison and can configure it correctly so long story short im going turbo with stage 2 cams and adj gears i feel the need to hit a solid 14.0 then maybe ill blow up my engine and be able to get my gte or 2j ... speaking of which when i showed up it was me my gf and 2 other guys we were early to the track and right off the bat i run against a mk4 turbo he was running 14.2 14.0 but i think it may have been his first time lots of wheel spin everytime he ran and he missed a few shifts here and there
