The 7Ms oil pump took a poo and now i got this teriible knocking in my block. i have a door bell you know. wel anywase my roommate has two 2jz vvti blown engins in the garge and after a guilt trip i now have acces to one. ive already started the tear down on the 2j to see if its even worth it and so far looks stright..
BUT Heres the thing, Its an N/A 2JZ VVTI engine out of a is300 with 60,000 miles makes 10 more horspower then the 7mgte stock, now ive been enjoying my car @13 psi for bout two months now and i know this is gonna be night and day but i already found out what it takes to boost it and have collected the following, SUPER FMU, big ass fuel pump and a manifold fit for my T70 sitting on the shelf. so now heres the thing. WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO PUT THIS THING IN A MKlll??? 1 J bell housing for my R154 then.....What??? I have the main harness and ecu shit like that but damn ive never seen this swap and due to money i have a blown 7m and a 2j waiting to be put in. so guys what does it take? can i use my flywheel, slave cylinder, fuse box ignition?? I know im not gonna have any gauges for now and so on but im dedicated to getting this done, damn it i have a welder! So any help would be great, thread links pointers anything thanks guys!
