brake fluid type? DOT 3, 4 or 5
Just wondering, what you guys run in the brake sys and clutch sys? Is the system even compatible with silicon base (DOT 5) fluid?

I use dot 4, but some UK supras are using dot 5.1 with no problems. Just to confuse us all dot 5 is a different animal altogether. Quote "DOT 5 is NOT recommended for any vehicle equipped with antilock brakes (ABS) " Link

thats right, i forgot to mention that my car does not have ABS. So anyway , dot 4 or 5.1 seems like the best solution because of the higher boiling points and there glycol based-
