LSD Identification <pic inside>
 

I pulled a differential out of a '87 the other day at the junkyard, and while the tag indicated that it should be a 4.3 LSD, I'm not so sure. It is indeed a 4.3 ratio, but the pumpkin showed evidence of not being original - it had been painted at some point and if there was a LSD tag on the cover, it was removed. Also, the opposing axle goes in the other direction if I spin one, but I know sometimes that "test" isn't foolproof on an assembly with some miles on it.
