Default About to install the rebuilt 7mgte

So I am going to drop the 7mgte in the 86.5 N/A today...

Are there any tips you guys have to give me? Just random stuff that you guys think are important when dropping the engine in. Any "dont forget to's.."

And while were at it,

Which is easier- set tranny in the well before engine is installed?? or

Attach tranny to motor on engine jack then put in together?

Thanks!

Pretty good man actually,

I am just really confused and frustrated with all these vac hoses and where they go Also want to see how I'm going to install this aftermarket bov..

another issue is that I have these two little plug/hoses with red clip under the intake manifold I have no clue where they go.

But other than that Its in!!

Yea I get what your saying bro,

I actually didnt pay for almost anything on this rebuild!! (dont think mom and dad did either hehe) I traded a guy an 87 250x quad and a 91 dodge dakota truck for an 88 na auto supra, the rebuild motor (forged internals) and a whole other parts car. He had just got too lazy I guess. He actually had everything to put her back together. When I got the stuff it was bare to the block so I know what it has and I rechecked everything before I assemble it back together. So out of my pocket I have only really bought-gasket kit, bolts here and there, hks bov, arp head studs, powder coated valve covers and 3000 pipe, stock ct26 setup, just things like that. Long story short, I probably would not have rebuilt it myself to be honest due to the amount of money it cost. The guy supposably paid 3g for the machine work but they did the forged pistons, eagle rods, new bearings etc...

I am going to use the ct until I have enough money to get a bigger turbo. I already have a t4 turbo manifold.

So yea man I just wish I had the money for the IC kit and a big turbo!!

Oh well it will come...
