Hey just wanted to see opinions on getting Nitrous in the 7mgte. Not too much just something maybe to help a take off until turbo kicks in, idk.
What do you guys think?? |

You think a 57 trim ct26 would be good??
You know how much it would be to get this? or do you send in your own for the upgrade?? |

driftmotion sells one for around 500 if you send them your old one.. around 600 if you just buy one and keep your core.

Personally I think Nitrous is for people who have the money to redo engines. The car can be made faster in a safer manner than that (safer for the engine). Dont know much about it, but 100 shot Nitrous would be nice for the track or a movie.. in real life.. I dont think I would try it on my aged drivetrain.

Well I definitely am not in a movie!! or ever plan to be, but the track I do actually plan on hitting the track up this summer.
I just put together a 7mgte with forged pistons, eagle rods and arp supporting hardware- and fully redone head all new but the cams. I didnt think on a 100 shot I think thats a little too much for me. I was thinking maybe like a 50 shot (if it will even do any good) you know? |

Im sorry, I have never used Nitrous.. just read about it. I think your safe with forged internals, and on the track. Just guessing from what I know of the nitrous boost that you would get a pretty damn good jump.. and I think the drivetrain is robust enough to hold it. Be interesting to read about it if you actually do it.. Im too much of a wuss to try that : )
