Lsd
Do all mkiii supras come with independent rear suspension, or only ones with LSD? My supra has independent rear suspension but no LSD tag, and I have a diff that does have the LSD tag..so should I swap it out? Any help is appreciated

All MK3's are independent rear suspension. I think MK2's are as well. i would suggest you put the LSD on, it makes the car launch a lot better.

Thanks for the reply :) I had an 88 with a LSD and sold it to a guy that I work with..it definitely has always seemed a lil quicker. Thanks again.

my 87 has an LSD and is stock... did they come stock on the N/A models?
Oh and its standard 5 spd w58 tranny. not sure if that matters. |
N/A's had the option of getting a LSD. I believe it came standard with the sports package (TEMS suspension, headlight washers, and the LSD).

and were the headlight washers even an option i though it was a Canada & cold States thing because i have yet to not see them, not too mention i think its the dumbest thing ever... wtf would you need to spray your head lights for??...??.. |
HA ha so true anyways mines JDM so it came across seas but was made for Canada... u understand what i mean? anyways there fun to drive...... without plates cuz i'm waiting for fake safety... =D
|
Well, I know it's not a cold state thing cuz when I lived in California most of the MKIII's there had the washer jets for the headlights...
I'm not sure if it's true for all years of MKIII's, but the earlier ones (like 87's) were all exported from Japan (as in not made anywhere else). They were just built with different specs for different markets. |
oh see well everyday i learn a couple things... cool
