ct-26 crack
I was talking with my friend tonight who is a bit of a mk3 expert. I hope to get his 7mgte when he swaps in the 2jz. Anyway he showed me a ct-26 turbo that he has and showed me the so called dreaded crack that forms in the exhaust side of the turbo. So I figured I’d make a post on the subject since I thought it might be something that is not so heard of. Its only a small hairline crack but still a crack. Apparently the turbo will still boost but not as well as it could and since every supra owner strives for power it’s a little sucker on power.

It's fairly well known and it's not just limited to the CT-26.... happens to a lot of old turbos, it's the thing you look for right after checking for shaft play when buying a used turbo.
