Rebuild or Swap!!
Need your help guys!!! Should i rebuild or Swap??
I have a 1991 Supra Turbo M/T and I'm getting quoted $1800 to rebuild. Should I rebuild it or swap it out?? Thanks Jay |

You didn't say what kind of swap you had in mind, so I can't really offer an opinion beyond generally tending to favor having it rebuilt by a shop or individual if you can find one which really knows what they're doing. Add whatever upgraded parts you would like (and can afford) and then enjoy your ride.

well i was just going to find another replacement engine 7mgte. im new to engines and cars, so.. is that what you mean? The shop where my car is at is saying there is something wrong with the piston rings and valves. He recommended doing a rebuild or engine swap. For an engine swap he's quoting me at $900 for labor plus the engine. Does this sound reasonable?
