Default whats up guys!

new to the the whole 7m engines. just got an 88 supra turbo. i have a problem where i oil leaking into the spark plugs. I just replaced the valve cover gaskets, but im still getting oil on the plugs somehow. I see there is a middle piece tht they call the galley. it seems like its a special allen socket to get it off. My question is would it leak oil from there to the spark plugs and if so what do i have to replace? is there a gasket of some sort? any help will be appreciated, my car is misfiring at idle and im thinking thats what it is.

You posted in the wrong section. Please read the description before posting if you are unsure. Moved to the MKIII discussion area.

The galley cover acts as a seal for those allen shaped plugs. You could try some RTV to seal them up.

Make sure you don't over torque the valve covers or you will crush the new seals and they will leak. The torque spec is 22 INCH pounds... that's just a bit more than hand tight for most people.

It's a 14mm hex key. The only place I could find one up here in MT is at Napa
