7mge swap
 

i have an 89 supra with a bad crank ...and i also have an 86 supra with a good motor i need to know what i have to do to swap the 86 motor into my 89 .....the 86 does not have a title so its just for parts......

electronics would probably be an issue.

You *could* swap the 86 7MGE into the 89 body if you swap all electronics, oil pan/pickup, and motor mounts.

It would be recommended that you swap your pre89 7M with all of it's electronics as well

anyone have a good link for the wire harness?...i need to get started on it this weekend
