drive train inquiry
long story short, a bolt snapped off while removing the flywheel could this unbalance the drive train to the point of damage or hp loss??

More a matter of the flywheel coming loose, IMO. Time for a STEADY hand, a drill and some easy-outs.
Utterly drown it in penetrating oil for a day or so before trying to remove it.
