Swap in LSD-Difficulty?
I found a parting out supra near my place and the guy still has the LSD available; its from a 87 NA. So my question is it going to be difficult to swap in the LSD? Will i have to remove the rear sub-frame? Secondly, what should be a good price for the LSD, i want to now the range before negotiating on his terms.

i haven't had a chance to go look yet, haha I wanted a quick overview of what to look for first. so im guessing that there no way tell unless you open up the carrier cover and look for damage and blue tint oil?

you misunderstand.
the metal itself will have an oily bluish look if it has seen heat, due to under lubrication. i wouldnt give any more than 50 dollers for a used diff. period.
