i agree, pull it and replace it. Wirring repairs in an engine bay can be a nightmare. Theres always grease and other crap that can cause problems. When you have several wires to repair and one poor contact it can be difficult to pinpoint that exact wire on the first try. You be back to square one otherwise. Its not as daunting as it may seem as it looks as though you have no engine in place so that makes things easier. Hope this helps!!
