Choppin the top
Just wondering if there are many structural differences between a normal supra and an aerotop supra. I did the chop about two years ago and apart from the roof leaking when i first got it done, i've had no problem. Can notice a slight reduction in stiffness with the roof off but it isn't too bad and hasen't got any worse over the two years. Did the aerotop supra have extra support in the chasis?

congratulations you are correct
the aero top supra does have more chassis strengthening than the hard top... next time you have it on a hoist or similar just have a look at the underside and ensure you don't have any cracks or similar.. just in case got pics

Can't remember the exact price. I think it cost around $2100aud all up for the three roof pieces and labour. Was a bit of a worry handing the car over for someone to cut the roof off to door level and put another on but it was worth it in the end.
