I got a supra 7mgte in a used car i bought for 2500, was mostly for the mint condition targa top with a few mods that i spent that, retorgued a new HG and dyno'd it, was still pushing 229hp on stock components and same oil it had when i got it, changed spark air filter oil and felt around the engine to make sure no warping put it back together and dyno'd it again, was pushing 334.5hp with new air filter and tune up. if it has the metal left on the engine and you have the will power that engine can run for up to 450k assuming you change the oil every 2.5k miles and know how to be good to her. mines at 429,530 still pushing strong

They look like a set of BBS rims to me... Can't find the model number though. Here's an up close pic, if interested.

Wish they were my rims, but I just recognized the style and did a quick google image search to get a better pic of them. GL on the search

Pretty good deal there on a nice car. Sure hope that it really was rebuilt at 170k. To replace the HG is a major repair bill if you don't do it yourself.

I got it and it is awesome finally any who now i have some questions.
i want to do a complete overhaul on the stuff of the engine that can be done for under 100 bux like spark plugs and spark plug wires. also i'm wanting to get some fuels injector cleaner my girlfriends dad swears by this stuff called sea foam and says it works wonders. I already changed the oil that was done the day after i got it and all. Thanks everyone for helping me out and giving me your opinions. i am now officially part of the supra family. |
