Default New rebuild 7mge

Hey guys I just rebuild my 7mge and they shaved .013 of an inch off the block and head total And they use a stock head gasket and this can retard the timing by 1 degree or more and with the Time Is advance all the way it runs good sitting there but when I took it around the block it has no power and goes nowhere u think the adjustable cam gear can help fix it And get the time back right

good god, use some grammar... that crap's barely legible.

No, it's not going to be off more than one degree and one degree you're not going to notice... AT ALL. Keep looking because the problem isn't the 1/3 or a degree offset from true alignment (Although it does sound as though your timing isn't properly set.). Besides, doesn't the fact that Toyota said cutting that much off was fine kind of hint to you that it was a planned for possibility?
