what is a good compression for a 7mge and what is crap? keeping in mind it is free...but i dont want to take something that is total crap.

also another question is what are the best value upgrades for the 7mge?

up grades.... it depends on what u wanna do. showroom, racing, burnout.... u need to decide what the car is for then research the parts. yes it can be turbo'd. compression... anything under 9:1 is not so good. 10:1, 10.5:1 11:1 are much better... if its a giveaway, something will be wrong. no one gives away a perfectly good working car that is only 13 years old. it was probably in an accident or has internal damage

before u do any mods - my advice to you would be to
1) find the soonest local drift event
2) get some used 15 or 16'' v6 wheels with tires to learn on
3) go to the event see how you like it, find what you wanna improve on and go from there.

i suggest doing some of the fluid swaps before you push it though. Tranny, Radiator, Differential, Engine Oils all swapped. Take your car to the track and spin it around for awhile, you shouldn't do any handling mods at first, learn to drift stock. it will make you a better driver.

then id do some research and find out what your car can do better, whether you have oversteer, understeer, bodyroll, etc then id look into parts that will eliminate any problems u are having
