Will the R154 Transmission bolt up to a 7M-GE
I just bought a 1988 Toyota Supra with 190,000kms and it is automatic. I want to swap it to manual. So I am wondering if the R154 will bolt in to my 7M-GE? Also is there such thing as a manual W58 Transmission. Thanks in advance (this is my first post on the forum)

The blocks for the 7mge and 7mgte as far as tranny bolt up are the same since they share the same auto tranny. The r154 came with the 7mgte and is stronger and more expensive because it is known for handling more power. But if you only have a 7mge then you can get a w58(5speed for 7mge) since it will be cheaper.

I have a guy that is selling an r154 with 185,000kms on it and he said it is in working condition, he wants $350 for it. Is that a good price also would I be able to get away with just the transmission or would I need more parts (I am aware I need a clutch pedal)
