1/4mile times
There's heaps of talk of all the mods that can be done to these fine pieces of machinery. I wanna know what kinda quarter mile times we're managing to get? my car has been converted to the 1jz with 3" exhaust and 13psi(basically stock). Been to the drags once and ran 13.93. I reckon if people posted their mods and their quarter mile times it might give people an idea of what they should be doing to their cars and what times they should be aiming for.

Store and back; 15 minutes. Old time 17 minutes.
N/A Rebuilt this year. 7MGE 1986.5 .010 off head and .010 off block. Stock N/A pistons, but a valve job and adjusted valve clearances! Free flow 3 in exhaust from cat. converter to flowmaster muffler, someday a header. Someday I will make it to the drag strip, but for now that is the best I can do. I can't even find anyone to street race yet! Russ |
