Someone on craigslist is selling a 1988 targa top turbo supra for $3200 all stock parts 220k miles. He says it's running fine with no problems. Is this deal worth it?

This doesn't belong in the classifieds section. Thread moved.

In my mind, 3200 is a bit high for the miles it has. If it was very clean, w/ maintenance records and little to no problems (I.e.- everything works ) then I'd say around 2700-2800 would be fair. If its got a rebuilt motor then that would add to the value ( as long as it was built right ), as well as any other upgrades or costly preventative maintenance.
Drive it, go over it with a fine tooth comb, and determine what its worth for itself. |
As old as it is it probably doesn't matter much anyway... by now the seller's either sold it or woke up, came down and sold it.
Hmm.... maybe I should move this back to the classified's section to help hide my little hiccup earlier today.... :frown: |
Haha, I gotta pay more attention to dates. Whoops, U must still be sick cre :o
