So if you fixed it, why is the code still present? Did you remove the efi fuse to reset the computer? Or did the code just not ever go away after resetting? If the last one applies, it sounds like the disconnected sensor wasn't the only problem. Might be time to do the KS rewire

Well, I forgot to say the code went away.. but after a while it came back..
It still does it when the code is off, but once I get going the code pops back up and it runs a little worse. Not much though.

My 87 7mgte is doing the samething, and i'm in the process of replacing the knock sensor now. If this does not fix the code 52 its on to the rewire for the ks. But its one thing after another when you buy old cars. By the way, did you ever sell yours? Cuz I thought of that many times, but cannot go thru with it.
