I am doing a rebuild on my 89 na turbo automatic supra on the bottom part of the engine. Can anyone give some suggestions to some things i could do the the engine to beef it up a little that are fairly inexpensive?

yes it is currently a non turbo automatic.

You don't really need to beef it up since it is a GE and you will never be pushing any high hp. Clean up and smooth out the ports and intake to help gain alittle hp.

is there anything i could do to make it sound a little louder/smoother internaly?

Port match the Intake manifold
Clean and Polish the intake ports
Header

But really in the end you should just saveup for a 7mgte
