88 supra new owner code 22 and 24

hey people i just bought a 1988 supra base model auto for my son who is 17 and hasnt had a car yeat . I purchased this project for 625.00 and it only has 140000 on the clock,pretty low miles for a 88 and overall shes in very good shape . I need to do some minor bodywork and the rust is a little extensive but interior very good and engine very strong . i made a cold air intake for it and plan on exhaust mods but thats all mechanicaly . My problem is that although it runs like a scalded dog no pun intended it seems to have a low speed issue where the car where poewer kind of shuts down when you takwe foot off accelarator and reapply and also going around turns very strange problem ,checked plugs wires etc no problem there but i am pulling the 22 and 24 codes i know what they are Coolant temperature sensor and intake temperature sensor but have no idea if these can cause my problem and where they are located sorry for being long winded lol tom in ky
