The tranny is pretty strong, as long as you don't miss shifts at high speed (good way to kill any tranny). The rear end is pretty durable, though i have heard of the limited slip going out, and they do sometimes fail, but the gears are the same as the ones used ont he trucks, and I can tell you first hand, as long as someone isn't dumb and replaces the oil seal without torquing the nut down right, it should be fine (previous owner on my truck did that, pinion nut backed out, shred 4 teeth off the pinion, but it STILL DROVE, not until one of the broken teeth started rubbing did i know something was wrong)

More than likely you'll burn up a clutch way before the other parts will go out...
