Engine swap 7mge to 7mgte
 

So atm i have a 1987 mk3 with a 7mge in it, and i have a spare 7mgte in garage, can i swap the engines out? do i need to do any special things?

Yes. Try searching through the forum before asking common questions. I don't know how many GE to GTE swap threads there are on this site alone. If all else fails, Google is your best friend.

Off the top of my head I can think of the obvious parts; wiring harness, ecu, exhaust, driveshaft (if using a r154 5 spd)...
