Brake light switch...
well i had just gotten a 89 MKIII with a few problems. one be that the brake lights don't turn on when brake is applied. i changed the brake failure box (yellow) nothing so i was told its the switch but junkyards dont have any . they say they are hard to come by. so would any of you know where i could start. plz help

That switch was used in a LOT of other model vehicles. Look at the part number on it and look at the following link for a list of cars you can pull one from... but before you wast your time, have you even tested it?

I looked on rockauto and they have them starting at $6

Advice of cre to test switch before spending even 6 on a new one, was good advice...
