I believe you can. But it's not going to be fun.

well i guess you should ask how to go about removing the stock boost gauge and if it will do any harm. i never torn my off so I cant tell you what it looks like

says you can take the stock one out and just use that vacuum line. i would concur w/o actually seeing it, it just makes sense.
