Hey.. dont knock these guys who blow their engines.. I have 2 of their cars sitting waiting for special lovin'.. and picked 'em up for a song.

I spent 3500.00 on 3 Supras and just had them appraised (as they sit, with no repairs done yet.. for insurance) and they appraise at
2300.00 for the Blue 87 with the seized engine
4200 for the white 88 targa/turbo (it runs fine, just messy interior and quarters rusted)
2850 for the red 90 with the BHG.

I was going to take 3 weeks off to fix them all, but then my daughter decided to go get hitched, so I have to spend the money on the traditional 4 camels, 17 sheed and 45 cattle for the event.. so.. they will sit a while longer.

Meanwhile.. I rip apart one Supra to find out that a garage is not big enough to store a torn apart car's parts.. lol.

Stick with N/A, the engines arent hard to find, hell.. I would probably sell you the engine out of my 87 and you can rebuild it and then just do a swap out (simple enough) or... get a Turbo engine and hunt down the ECU, etc.. for a proper swap and experience the joy. (which is what I plan to do on the NA 87 I have)

If the car is the red one I see in your pics you posted, I would go full turbo or sell it to me as is

Yes, you can drop the GTE in there and run it like a GE. You'll have less power (lower compression ratio) and you'll need to swap a number of parts over from the GE though; These include: injectors, upper intake plenum, flywheel, distributor, N/A spark plugs would be a good idea.... etc.

Cre,

so he can make the transfer over to the gte with the ge wiring harness? and the ge computer as well? I was wondering because I was thinking about that as well.

I've answered this a few times in a few recent posts.. It depends on what specifically you're talking about. If you're asking if you can use the engine minus the turbos then I've answered it in the first reply. If you're asking if you can run a full GTE setup, turbo and all, on GE electronics then the answer gets quite complicated... to put it simply or safely: If you have to ask, then *no*.

The short of it is that you can run just about any I6 engine with the electronics from almost any other I6 engine... but you need to ensure that any variables that system may not be aware of are addressed (such as using the electronics from a system not built for a turbo on an engine which has one).
