Keep the engine maintained, tight and dont ignore small problems and you can just keep adding on to it. Also, watch your engine temp when you start pushing. If you start noticing the heat creeping up, you will have to pay attention to the cooling system. Remember.. aluminum head, cast iron block.. they expand differently.. so if you keep spiking the heat you can end up with a bit of warpage and a huge headache.. : )

Generally without a full build, I like upgrading over a longer period of time and letting the engine tell me what it doesn't like. No sense building for 450+ HP and then watching everything blow apart (amazing how many cars you see for sale that had these nice upgrades, but are now selling because they have rod knock, or blown head gaskets)

Just a little note too.. if you do get injectors.. RC's are fairly reliable, but you should flow test them to ensure your not putting a faulty one in. Nice to know they all do their job correctly.
Thanks, these upgrades make sense.. CONTINUE PEOPLE! THX

if i were going to buy fuel injectors i would get the custom ones from.. suprasport? or driftmotion? cant recall which one it is atm and i can't be bothered to take two seconds and check my bookmarks.

they use the same pigtails as the stock 440 ones.. there actually 440 cc injectors fabricated to 550.. comes with a warranty and everything. someone was selling a set of new ones on supramania for like 350.. good deal. there like 400 on the site.

yes low impedance

If you have a set of used ones, just find a shop that can flow test the injectors (not sure who can in your area and also not sure how much they cost to test)

The RC injectors are known to be reliable, but I personally wouldn't throw anything in my car without testing. You dont want to run with a bad injector. Find out how much it costs prior to getting them tested though. Then use a bit of judgement. If you read the post above this one, you will note some info that is important as well about "plug and play" type injectors. I have never personally replaced mine on a Supra, so dont know what is all involved.

supra sport makes the injectors
http://www.suprasport.com/SupraSport...rs_p_5466.html

this is not some ebay store..
yes I agree with you. the use of "plug n play" anything smells a tad fishy. but if you buy from known respected dealer of good performance parts....
comes with an 18 month unlimited mile warranty.
so if you wanna spend your additional 200 to get them flow tested be my guest.
