Let me start by telling you all my upgrades. ic piping, 2.5 intercooler, flowdyne radiator, dragster 3inch exhaust and hks downpipe 3inch.
lexus maf *not install yet I just recieved the christmas gifts i bought myself. 1. walbo 255 fuel pump 2. rc 550 injectors 3. greddy boost controler I want to get a few other things, but if I spend another dollar on this car right now, my wife will kill me. lol. I plan to install everything sometime this week. What i want to know is if i install all this, do you think i will need anything else my SUPRA to run properly. Like i said before i really don't have more money right now. But at the same time iI don't want to damage anything. thanks |

I would wait till i had a wideband o2 sensor on it before i changed my fuel system at all. However there are quiet a few that run 550's/walbro/ and lexus with any issues

with the wide band o2 i'm guessing i need a air fuel ratio gauge.
and i don't have a fuel pressure regulator also with what i'm gonna have in my supra how high would you reccomend boosting and what kind of hp do you think i should be putting out |

thats pretty much based on how well your motor is up to par.
i wouldnt go over 14 less you get some forged internals. I would of went with an upgraded ct-26 before i got the injectors and what not. might as well put that on your list my upgrade list went turbo / intercooler then standalone fuel management

i have not done the headgasket but im pretty sure it has been done. i've had the car almost 1 year and it has 210k.
i dont want to do the headgasket yet. i know the dangers but like i said im prety sure its been done. the car sound and runs great. any way to check for mhg? i dont mind blowing the headgasket. then its easier to explain to my wife that i need 2 grand to rebuild. right now i boost to almost 8psi... what do you think i should boost to and what hp do you think i will be putting out? Also thinking about sneaking a few extra bucks to get a wideband o2s. and ideas on a good ones to get... i was thinking aem.. \\ tanks Last edited by vbryanv; 12-22-2010 at 04:18 AM. |

aem eugo wideband.. did i spell that right. pff
or LC1. street glow got some good looking things. you dont need a metal headgasket less your trying to push some serious boost n hp.. talking 20psi and 500 hp. there is no set grade on what you've done to your car and what will see in hp gains.
