CBs, fuses good, what else?
I accident crossed my wires on the vsv (heater). Pretty much everything is not working on gauge fuse 7.5 now but CBs and fuses are good. But ido have power to seats and door locks. No tach, ac, windows, defog, etc. Any ideas? Main..not sure how to check if bad. Thanks, mike....

Did you actually replace the Gauge fuse or just visually "inspect" it? If the fuse IS new and definitely good then test at the fuse box to see if voltage is getting that far with the key in the "on" position. If it is then follow the line and test at the next junction. The circuit branches off pretty quickly, IIRC so you should have to look far. Many of the non-operations components you list as on different grounds, so that's out.

CBs, relays, fuses good, now what...
Thanks for the info. The fuse was checked with a meter. Good, went to next level, junction box, nothing. Hmm, wondering if relays are bad. Searching on how to check relays. Saw something abot testing wire coming out of relay but do not see any wires coming from relays. Will look again. Specifics not working:
Climate control and blower Tach Turbo gauge Oil gauge Overdrive Power trans option Windows Lumbar Seats, mirrors, radio, clock, lights, signals all work Thanks for any info... mike |

No CB's or relays after the fuse. If you did as directed and actually tested for voltage AT the fuse and there's nothing it's a wiring problem.

Vsv cross wires causing wiring issues
It is a wiring issue. The defog and main fuse relays each only have one hot hole. From what i have read there should be two of four. I checked the other relays as a test and they each have two hot, two not. I guess i go to tracing now. Fun, fun. Thanks. Mike

yellow wire on the defog switch is the gauge fuse... ign needs to be ON.
What are you referring to while troubleshooting this? http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/ ?

Glad to hear it! So what specifically was the problem? Wiring's a bitch, eh?
And thanks! I really like it too.
