you can find intercoolers off ebay. not much difference. there are about what. 4 or 5 different type of fin style design. find one thats in your budget. dont exactly have to go sperco replica.
our stock one is fine. the only reason i say replace it is because its old..
a new one will certainly allow you to feel a difference, that or a good cleaning of the old one.

Ya I found this one here for cheap but I don't know a whole lot about intercoolers. This one is only rated to 400hp but is tha whp idk.. Lol, besides that I see getting one with higher HP ratings would only lead to more protection.. So I am back to driftmotions kit thats rated to 700whp ($399).

Here is the ebay one I found..

intercoolers are the same across the board. their not, but they are.

Tube n fin design is the best surface to cooling ratio. but who gives a rats ass. unless your a hardcore track racer, its just abunch of smoke IMO.
rated for 400hp should be enough to fit your needs man. save yourself 200 bucks. but hell if you have it to blow, save yourself 200 bucks and buy me something =)

Question.. So I have ordered the driftmotion CT26 57 trim turbo.. I looked at the trsm, it wanted me to do some pressure check on the turbo after I replace it.

Anyways, I need to just do a direct swap right?

Thats the turbo i got back from driftmotion they do great work, i did pay for the ceramic coat and polish though.

It is a direct bolt on replacement. You may end up finding yourself hitting fuel cut earlier. After upgrading turbo/intercooler piping/downpipe i started hitting fuel cut at stock boost due to increased air flow.

Shoot~! If i'm hitting fuel cut, that means 1 of 2 things.. I either have a problem, or I'M RIGHT ABOUT 300HP - 315HP (Near the fuel cut limit).. I would choose the obvious one for both of our vehicles..

I just bought a ct-26 57trim from driftmotion (BTW it's AWESOME!) I will be sending them my old ct-26 turbo for $100 bucks.! Ya, I will check out the godspeed IC Kit..

BTW They got me the turbo in about 1 1/2 week.. They had to send one off to be rebuilt, then from the rebuild place in Texas it was sent to me.. :b
