JDM vacuum lines. please help!
hey, im ready to drop my fully rebuilt JDM 7mgte back into my baby, but.....im not too comfortable with the number of open ports and vacant vacuum lines still unattached. or just the lack of vacuum lines period. i only have until january 14th to get this figured out so any help would be appreciated!! heres the list.
1) Where does the vacuum source come from for the auxillary air pipe that goes vertically between the plenum ports and eventually connects to the stock BOV? 2) Does the vacuum port on the bottom of the accordion hose connect to the air valve on the PS pump? and if so, which side of it? and why is there no hardline or other connection for the other side of the air valve? 3) Where does the vacuum source/s come from for the entire vacuum hardpipe assembly that sits just below the plenum chamber that provides vacuum sources for the FPR and such? 4) When hooking up a GReddy Profec B-Spec II, which vacuum line should i tap into to hook up the 3-way vacuum splice? again, thank you so much in advance for any help on these!! the previous owner of my supra was a doorknob and gave it rod knock (machine shop BARELY got the connecting rod journals on the crank level after taking .030" off. OH....and the previous owner BENT THE FREAKING CRANKSHAFT ) so i just finished putting 8 grand into my supra and i've rebuilt/done everything so far on it by myself and im 17 years old in mechanics class at school. i just want her on the open road where she belongs=( |
