Headgasket Thickness Felpro
I was looking into a Felpro Composite Gasket from Rockauto.com. I figured I could order the other gaskets from there or ebay. Friend is coming over to help me figure out what is holding the head on still... We removed the turbo, intake plenum upper and lower, exhaust manifold, wiring loom, fuel rails, I drained the block and took the timing cover off, cam covers, spark plugs, coil pack, CPS. The head someone said formed a bond because it got so hot? We tried leveraging a jack handle on an intake plenum stud over a wooden bar in the engine bay. I have heard there are dowel pins holding it on. I am running a 102 degree fever, but I have to get her running by the 14th there is a Supra meet. Need to order the gaskets tomorrow. I am also wondering what would be a good solvent to clean my turbo with? Intake plenum and exhaust manifold.
