Leaking oil
Hey everyone........... I need some help trying to figure out my problem on my 1989 Supra(non-turbo). The car seems to be leaking oil excessively, looks like mostly from the area behind the balancer. I have changes all gaskets and the cam seals also but it still leaking.
A friend said it could be a BHG causing the internal pressure that is forcing the oil to leak. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Mauimale5799 |

If you had a BHG you would be burning oil and antifreeze is there bluish smoke or alot of white smoke coming out The exhaust and for the balancer you talking about the crank pulley

Yes, sorry its the crank pulley. No smoke to speak of but the antifreeze seems to be low constantly.

All I could think of is the crank seal or there is two places where toyota sealant goes between the head and the block at the front. And I don't believe a bhg will always result in burning coolant and oil since the hg can leak exterally also.

I think you might be right. If it is the sealant, is there a fix to put the sealant back on??
