Engine dealers
does anyone know of a reputable engine dealer here in the US, preferrably on the east coast to pick up a dressed 7mgte or a complete 7mgte w/r154 and wireharness, ecu? i got around 1700 to spend can probably stretch to 2000. or does anyone think i can do a 1jz for around the same price. im just tryin to get this girl runnin, im gettin antsy with her sittin in the drive way.

Try Ebay, or search online. They have them everywhere. I think for a 1jz-gte or a 2jz-gte would cost more than 2 Grand prob 3-5 Grand. Are you going to do everything yourself, because labor cost money too.

Anyone with a rebuilt engine like jasper is going to be expensive. I would search for a jdm importer. But you take a chance since the motor may or may not need rebuilt. Most have a start up warranty though.
