Mk3 Supra forum noob here
hey, just picked up a 1987 supra/turbo/targa about a month ago and was taking it apart for much needed body work (got tooooo cold though). i plan to have it on the road for late spring time. Pics on profile. it has alot of custom work that was done a while ago, the car runs strong with 54k on original motor.
im looking for constructive ideas from some of you. first off the paint is gonna be a metallic gray when complete, i have a new mean looking fiberglass bumper to install, clear lenses for the front. ill probally install new carpet, and spray some interior panels as i feel. audio will be upgraded with custom pods for rear seat speakers. i plan on changing rims to anything black with chrome lip, (im not feeling the 17" chromes that r on it now) but ill stay 17". |

Wow... I guess everyone's on vacation. Welcome to the forum.I'm afraid I don't have much in the way of suggestions for your upgrades at the moment... paint and electronics are generally dictated by very individual tastes.

A guy i work with has a '90 turbo and had this crazy idea to flushmount the headlights, it sounds cool but I cant come up with a good way to make it work without relocating the turn signals. Smoked out lights always looks good as well but you need to careful about what laws might limit what you can and cant do to your essential lights in your area. I thought about taking green lights and running them along the fronts of my wheel wells like aircraft formation lights at one point but never did for fear of it looking too tacky.
