newbie lookin to buy 87 supra

found a 87 supra turbo car the inside and out is in great shape fuel pump aint gettin power there is no fire coming from the coils i have not yet bought the car so im tryin to figure if its worth buying for 500 bucks i was wondering if there is any common problem with the issues i have mentioned i did not have time to read a any wiring diagram so i am curious if any one can hellp me with some information i will be greatful oh and from lookin at the distributor i wasn t sure how it worked i havent seen a system like that so i good understanding of that woudl really help me

GO EASY ON ME PEOPLE IM NEW TO THIS SUPRA STUFF

Hey 500 bucks, it's worth a few hundred in scrap metal. So as long as there is no major rust atleast you aren't investing much money.
